How to Avoid Abusing Your Mind, Body And Thingy

This online class seeks to clear up much of the confusion around sex and spirituality by exploring the deeper meaning and purpose of sex. The benefits could be a greater understanding of sex, clarity, cast-iron abstinence or mile high enjoyment.

Other areas we might touch upon, depending on the audience and if your mum is listening next door, could include:

  • Who 1? One, None or Many Partners?
  • Who’s Mr Right? Mr Byrite, Mr Sex Athlete, Mr Sexual Animal, Mr 90′s Man (new age)
  • Relax, Don’t Do It? To Come or Not to Come? The Sexual Energy Reservoir
  • Position? In, Out, Shake It All About?
  • Frequency? Once a day or every hour?
  • Men vs Woman? Are they really different? Finally the Truth
  • Sex and The Single Swami?
  • Guru Sex – Good Idea or Bad Practice?
  • Sex Clubs Which Masquerade as Spiritual Groups and vice-versa
  • Sexual Paths To Enlightenment – Do They Exist?
  • The Throbbing Pink Elephant in the Corner*
  • And much, much more serious subjects . . .

Finally, all participants are welcome to join the after class hook up on webcam ( if you believe all of this then you don’t need to apply)

Please bring your intelligent questions and see if the Transmission does it’s famous work of answering them before you even ask.

Raw Naked Spiritual Teaching vs Powder Puff Poetry

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

There is a kind of spirituality – you can find it in popular books and stirring speeches. Unfortunately, it’s not rare and you might have been infected by it without realising it.

Getting to the point: pretty words and spiritual powder puff poetry are not the real thing. Never could be, never will be. I speak as a former spiritual comics addict.

Getting closer to the point: Real spirituality is vivid, palpable and invigorating.

In this Sunday’s online class I will:

  • Point out the differences between real and sham spirituality.
  • Explain how to diagnose whether your problems are related to conceptual misunderstanding and unrealistic fantasies.
  • Introduce you to raw breathtaking spirituality, which once tasted means no more eating cardboard since you now know that you want the cornflakes inside the box more than the box itself – and, of course, I will show you how to find them.

All that in one class!

The Enlightenment Teaching Legacy: Transmission, Power, Responsibility

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

This Transmission Intensive opens up the spiritual seekers’ awareness of the wider dimensions involved in being a spiritual student, teacher and recipient of the Enlightenment Transmission.

Typically, in mass produced spirituality spiritual seekers are not brought “inside the door” i.e. given the necessary experiences, information and understanding to make the spiritual journey from gross identification to self-liberation.

In the Oshana Spiritual Teaching only a small number of students are taught allowing for the best possible customised learning environment beyond direct One-to-One tuition (which be excruciatingly intense and exacting).

With the free gift of the constantly available Transmission the Oshana student is exposed to a powerfully inexorable transformation process which will unstoppingly affect their identity, behaviour and self-perception. This will present openings and challenges and invisibly present others with the hidden power to evolve.

The student is strongly counselled to make the most of the potential spiritual growth energy which the Transmission brings, to move with it and not resist, to be gentle with others whilst fully conscious when they are ready to evolve. Hence, Transmission is a gift not only to the individual but also to significant others and the whole planet.

If time and relevance permits, and because it is Easter Sunday, we will take the real life example of Jesus (Christ) and explore how he managed this incredible energy and sought to fulfil duty to others.

Lights, Action, Transmission! After the Blast

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Anyone who has experienced Transmission knows it’s well powerful. As real as anything speeding on the road and then some (more). Transmission is the real come to awaken you to the real.

Like being awakened early? Some people do, and some don’t. Seekers’ reactions to Transmission vary but there is always a reaction from stunned amazed to stunned. That in itself is an event, a phenomenon, that people are affected at all. It isn’t the norm for spiritual events, except charismatic/cathartic rituals, which are typically as unstimulating as the umpteenth cold tea which the vicar accepted but did not drink (which is why stoned stimulant seekers, eschew the Salvation Army in favour of peyote-toting neo-shamans. “More E vicar?” will be the clarion call of the spiritually bankrupt bankrolling machine.)

It’s no wonder that spiritual seekers seek refuge in the last place that a Self-respecting aspirant should be seen – the bookshop. It’s the only place that seems to offer sense in the free market chaos of the topsy-turvy spiritual shopping mall. But it’s a trap, and enslavement to something far worse than the mail order book club debt-collector on the door – the mind’s machinations. Whilst prize courgette may grow from poop, the thousand-petalled lotus never arose from the dead-end mind. Minds don’t do wisdom anything like Consciousness does.

If Transmission is the long awaited big wave, then how to surf it all the way home? Forget about style, just hang on to that board, whatever happens it will be out of this world. That’s what this spiritual training is about, preparation for out-of-this-world, not the next world, but the Beyond The Beyond in this life, living from that place. Can you do two things at once? This is simpler.

If you followed this riff thus far and felt an immediate “yes yes, yes yes, yes yes” then apply with-in. If you didn’t then I hope you at least were enter-tained.

Absolute Trust In Total Existence

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Complete rest and peace – when will it ever come? It does not need to come because it has always been here. Do not consider it a destination – for it is a journey of zero distance. Therefore effort, goal setting and reward seeking behaviour are inappropriate tools for your eventual transition to absolute peace of mind.

In the beginning you had pure peace and joy. You have not taken a journey away from it in this world. Therefore world effort and the things of this world cannot supply the solution.

The tragic event was a subtle internal shift of focus. A slip up from which you have eternally but erratically tried to recover your footing. The faster you back pedal, the more you lose your balance.

This Transmission Teaching is here to make obvious the exact subtle inner shift required to move from the World of Form and Appearance to the Realm Before Manifestation, the place of All-Knowing.

There is only one thing you can absolutely trust and depend in because it is not a thing. It will never leave you. I call it Transmission. You can call it Truth. Find it and be free and happy in each and every moment. This is discovering the Truth Beyond Existence.

For the first time ever, high level spiritual teaching is now available in the comfort of your own home through an internet connection. This Sunday and every Sunday discover amazing rare spiritual treasures. Book your online classes now at daveoshana.com. First come, first served. You will receive a guidance email full of helpful suggestions for attending the live online class.

How IT All Started
- and Ended

Transmission AUDIOcast

18th January 2009
Starts 4pm Helsinki (2pm London)
Cost: Nothing, Nada, Nichts

Dear Seekers,

What a good way to start the New Year – late (having missed all the bad news and great sales) and with a free AUDIOcast as a way to introduce the start of a new season of Sunday afternoon (or brunch depending on your region) Live Transmission online classes. New flavours from the Oshana kitchen of experimental spiritual cuisine – but relax – exactly the same tried and true ingredients.

Thematically, the AUDIOcast will be about how it all started and ended for me – as a seeker. I can just about remember those days. Pre-2000, I chased after anything and everything, even bags in the wind …

Cue: The plastic bag scene from “American Beauty” and the words, “And that’s the day I realized there was this entire life behind things, and… this incredibly benevolent force … Sometimes there’s so much beauty in the world I feel like I can’t take it, like my heart’s going to cave in.”

Well, actually scraps of paper covered with cryptic inscriptions describing the beneficence of sundry mystics who held audience in hard-to-find London tenements. Normal people, it seemed, chucked such invaluable maps to consciousness away, totally oblivious to the inherent value.

This is how I spent my youth. Misspent? The court is out on that one. Fortunately, for all its wonder and spectacle, my seeking days ended fatefully on 19th June 2000. No more seekers anymore (set to the tune of “No More Heroes” – do not follow link). I can’t say I miss any of it – because – I don’t.

If you know me. (You do? Ok, I can tell you then) Then you know that Waking UP was the singularly most important event for me. It was like the time and place when and where I entered into this world. Year Zero. There was nothing before it. How peculiar.

Being a spiritual teacher and sharing magical lights, mind shattering wisdom, spontaneous healings and experiences so deep you could free fall for ever and ever – this is nothing compared to the Enlightenment because nothing compares to birth, I can tell you, and so can quite a few recently overwhelmed happy Oshana student couples – Congratulations!

Except in my case I was spiritually reborn, not physically (although I had heretofore toyed with the idea but figured my mum would not be up for it). I always wanted a new life, a fresh start. Come mid-June 2000, I had it.

I am trying my best not to reveal the AUDIOcast, not to expose the new soup’s secret seasoning. Truth is, I don’t know what it is yet. I haven’t cooked it. But this weekend, when I am all alone, I will make it.

I think I have said enough. I’ll stop here. Save to mention a few practical items. Yawn! Pay attention, especially if you have never attended an Oshana online class or AUDIOcast, this may prevent lifetimes of gnawing dissatisfaction at having missed the audio stream due to a completely avoidable mistake.

Well, I’ll spare you the details in this email. If you are interested, and there is no reason why no to be, then you will find all the information about tuning in this Sunday at the following web-page How IT All Started – and Ended and if you miss it there will be a repeat (at the end of 2009 – just kidding!)

And whether or not you miss the free AUDIOcast you still have time to catch the paid-for live class on 25th January Why You Should Stop Seeking, Today! After which, I will never call you a seeker ever again, never ever.

And if I don’t catch you in life then may it be the next!

Seasons greetings,
Dave Oshana

Getting Enough Vitamin L: Love

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Dave Oshana seeks to give you life in all its fullness by recognising what love is and is not. True love is the missing L Vitamin. Elusive but worth finding, obtaining it could kick-start your life in all kinds of ways.

There’s a new vitamin that everyone needs to be happy and survive but few know enough about to derive. It’s Vitamin L. “L” for love. Not L-O-V-E love or pop song love. Not romantic love. Not being in love. Nor falling in love. Nor falling out of love. None of those expressions come close to getting your supply high.

Life without the Love Vitamin? That isn’t so comfortable. Yet so many go without it, day after day, year after year. Like water, we are a dehydrated society. Most people know that something is wrong but they don’t know what is wrong. And so they go looking for love in all the proverbial wrong places -which leads to disappointment, disillusionment and more frantic seeking – until death do thee part.

Like anything which goes unsatisfied, the lack becomes over-whelming, disabling, distracting and all-consuming. Many people don’t actually start their real lives, the life they could have, the mission, the relationship, the family because they lack this basic love – Vitamin L.

Vitamin L is invisible. You can’t buy it in the shops. It can’t be manufactured by listening to a song or watching a movie. It’s not an emotion or a feeling. Vitamin L is a basic sense of being fully accepted simply for existing. Without this sense a person doesn’t feel that they have the right to be here or anywhere. They constantly doubt if they are right or wrong. The tiniest wobble in their plans, environment or the reactions of others can devastate them because, not so deep down, they are grossly and perpetually uncertain of themselves.

It’s a given that your environment, including those you would expect to give you perpetual eternal love, simply will fail to do so some of the time. At least from your perspective, if you have not grokked that love simply exists. But if you are looking for quick fixes and emotional highs, the Hallmark greeting card, that special event or birthday party – then surely you will be sorely disappointed – because none of those are Love itself but simply manifestations. Love is not a manifestation. However, love can be expressed through forms and activities. But if you can’t extract the love from the forms it takes then you will go eternally hungry.

Can you start to see that Love is essential to living fully, and that a life without love is dark, introspective and fails to flourish? Do you get that love is sought for in the wrong places? Do you sense that love is available for free? This online class seeks to make these realizations available to you in the anticipation that you will then have life in all its fullness.

Dissolving Stuckness With Consciousness

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Dave Oshana explains stuckness: what it is and how to remove it by the application of Consciousness itself. The class starts is part explanation and part practical guided meditation.

“Stuckness”- it seems to follow some people around. Like a swamp, the more you actively you fight against it the worse it gets. It sticks to you more, drags you in. It doesn’t go away. Stuckness is not only being stuck, it is about something sticking to you. So the question is how to handle “stuckness” if it does not let you be free. More importantly, how to move on with your life?

Of course, sometimes you are exactly where you are supposed to be. In one sense, you are always where you are supposed to be. But is it possible that you aren’t – that you have gone outside of the present moment, that you are detached from reality? This also is part of stuckness – being stuck in the mind’s constructs.

However, we will be relating directly to stuckness in its energetic form, dissolving it and progressively travelling into more subtle energetic realms to dissolve more stuckness. Ultimately, there is no more stuckness – only free flow – that is the ideal and the aim.

When are free of stuckness we also are not stuck in our lives. Are you ready to have that kind of freedom?

Absolute Freedom: Soul Level Karma-Free Action

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

A seminar by Dave Oshana

Absolute Freedom: Soul Level Karma-Free Action

Summary
Visit the birthplace of your soul, your true home, where all actions are karma-free and in harmony with the Universe and the Will of God. Understand the (Bodhisattva) principle of living to end pain and suffering of others. See beyond the illusory curtain of this world and realise the absolute freedom which you have inherited.

Message
The laws of cause and effect, more poetically known as “karma”, seem to be in operation everywhere.  However, mystics have referred to a transcendental realm which is unaffected by karma – we can call it the “karma-free zone”.

The idea of karma is complex but in its simplest form it is that every action has an effect. The personal relevance is that the effects of your actions have to be paid off. Unfortunately, debt payments cannot be paid immediately but are staggered over many lifetimes.

Bad deeds a lot of suffering until you learn to discriminate right from wrong action. Fortunately, good works, which you surely do, mean lifetimes of rewards on heavenly planets, enjoying seemingly unlimited pleasures and being treated like a minor god. Unfortunately, your credit runs out and you get sent back down to Earth to repeat the process again – ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

Eventually, you get tired of this unending cycle of reward and punishment and figure out that there must be more to life and you become a spiritual seeker.  From there on you set your sights, all though you don’t know it yet, on finding the “karma-free zone”. In the “karma-free zone” you don’t get attached to anything and so you don’t have to physically incarnate ever again – this amounts to a huge saving in living costs.  However, if you are a Bodhisattva-type, meaning a “really nice person”, then you incarnate to relieve the suffering of others.

However, the physical body is subject to the laws of physics. So in that sense the Bodhisattva-type suffers, because all bodies suffer, on Earth for the sake of others. But the Bodhisattva-type is experiencing life from a different place compared to the average person. Whilst his feet are firmly on the ground, his awareness is not in his head, or his earthly identity but his transcendental activities in his eternal home.

The Bodhisattva-type would like to go home forever but for the sake of others stays in the body. This might remind you of Jesus describing how His Father’s home is not of this world.
If you would like to visit this heavenly realm then you can. There are two types of visas, temporary stay and permanent.

The temporary heavenly visa means you get to experience bliss, freedom and expansion but you cannot stay there indefinitely and you can’t choose how long you can stay or when you can go back. The permanent visa means that you are in the heavenly karma-free zone all of the time. However, the price that you pay is that you can never experience life from a mundane human perspective and never feel that Earth is your proper home.

The “karma-free zone” is actually the Primordial Space from which all of Creation came. It is insubstantial and un-manifest. In that place there is no distance, time or matter. Yet everything is there. Because there are no things therefore there are no actions. This is why it is karma-less. Yet, we can go there anytime because it is our true Home from where we came and to where we will eventually return.

The good news is that you can visit your Home before you finish all your incarnations because you already exist in that place. However, your worldly filters out spiritual information and stops you experiencing the full magnitude of what you really are. The mind creates the illusion of a fictitious world. Called “maya” in Hinduism and “The Matrix” in modern stories.  I show ways to go beyond the mind to that place where you can experience absolute freedom, where actions have no karma and everything you do is in harmony with the Universe and God’s Will.

Unshakeable Confidence in One’s Sacred Life Purpose

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Spiritual teacher and psychologist Dave Oshana gives a unique seminar about happiness.
Unshakeable Confidence in One’s Sacred Life Purpose

Summary
There is only one right choice in each moment. The mind is too slow to figure it. Only your soul’s intuition can show you the way. I reveal an energy, a teaching and techniques which will take you out of the mind and into the moment where you will find unlimited wisdom and unshakeable confidence.

Message
How can you be sure that your next move is the best one?

It’s a lot of pressure isn’t it? Yet we will put ourselves under this pressure every day, many times a day for the rest of our lives. So it’s worth solving this problem, ending daily confusion and being able to get on with our lives in the certain knowledge that we are doing absolutely the right thing in any given moment.

First something to relax you. God  (or the Universe or Consciousness, whatever word suits you) does not demand that you achieve anything.  That’s right.  That’s not why you are here, sweetie. God wants you to enjoy life. That does not necessarily mean tonnes of hedonistic activities but to enjoy at least the fact that you are here, alive, breathing and in existence. And to laugh because when you laugh God gets to laughs too.

Maybe you feel the Truth in that but still you can’t shake off your old beliefs enough to relax and feel why you are really here. In that case come to the mini-seminar, and laugh at life and even yourself. Let’s clear up some myths, mistakes and misunderstanding – they are often the cause of problems.

If you could relax, then you would discover that life is fun and you would see more clearly. The ultimate aim is that you know who you are and what you want to do.

Also be aware that Life sometimes wants you to have a complete rest, that means to do Nothing.  Very few people dare to do absolutely nothing but it’s the necessary step before taking massive action and getting things done.

Once you have rested fully then your life force energy goes to the opposite pole towards absolute activity. If you allow yourself to go to both extremes then you avoid burn-out. If you get stuck in one extreme then you become disabled.

You arrive on the planet with a purpose to express valuable qualities like love, compassion, fairness and sensitivity. People typically forget this when they form a social identity during childhood conditioning . They act from their head instead of their heart and from whence comes competition, jealousy, paranoia and judgement.

Take  a holiday from the mind’s self-created prison. Re-experience the joy and direct contact with life. Without the mind’s negative filters the world looks beautiful and you become confident.

My healing method involves conscious, subconscious and invisible methods because the mind is invisible and has a subconscious component. Talking, giving advice, telling stories and jokes is the verbal part of what I do. The invisible part is managed by a powerful healing energy called the Transmission. It has worked miracles in people’s life. You can easily compare it to the Holy Spirit of Jesus’ time. I also show people how they can remove negative emotions and thoughts from their bodies by using their hands. When a person’s awareness moves out of the narrow prison walls of the mind it comes into contact with the realm of intuition from where one simply knows what is right. It’s like knowing where to hit a billiard ball to get all of the other balls to go into the holes. In that state, you quickly see that you only ever have one choice in each and very moment not many. The mind sees many choices and possibilities and this can lead to what I call “analysis paralysis” but the soul sees only one choice. That choice is always the right choice and thus you act always with unshakeable confidence knowing that life could not be any other way.
