“Inception” is one of those movies which offers valuable metaphors for spiritual teaching. But a metaphor is only truly useful when it is fully realised or used in the service of awakening another.
“Inception” is about dreams, illusions, projections, inner defenses, internal sabotage, buried memories and unresolved issues. It won’t wake you up but with the guidance of an authentic spiritual teacher the movie can provide a new language of dreams for non-psychotherapists.
It’s progress if people start to wonder if their life is an illusion and start to seek for meaning. People are living in a dream which will, at the very least, fall apart when they die. How to bring the structures of the dream crashing down in such a way that the dream is exposed without destroying the fully functioning human mind? That question is for budding spiritual teachers.
Waking has to be done carefully and effectively otherwise the attempt will fail, take forever or worse crash and burn.
If you want to wake up from the dream and come back to Reality then contact me, Mal – it’s what I am here for.

Dear Dave,
I experienced full nirvikalpa Samadhi and Kundalini 13 years ago, and have been working closely with Mother Mary ever since. I spent all that time clearing emotional healing of my past. I am now 47.
Now, however, my enlightenment is coming back, and I am about to run a Satsang …
Have you any suggestions how I proceed – Is it wise to find a teacher to get back up, because, my knowledge of the science of yoga is limited. Or can I just talk about LOVE, BEAUTY, TRUTH, ONESS, & JOY alone from my experiences.
I have never found a teacher up to scratch – many so called monks and teachers that are only approaching the subject from academic or theological studies not personal experience – even Tibetan Lamas, and Gurus who don’t understand what I am talking about when I tell them that I experienced myself existing inside the cell walls of a flower as behind the object itself as God.
And that said, I know it is an isolated path, but should I seek other spiritually enlightened people because it’s been a lonely 13 years, however, when you are in samadhi there is no loneliness.
Kind regards – Edward James Tagg
I believe you. I have been wanting to see this movie to realize the clues about what is really hidden in our lives that we are unaware of.
Hi Edward,
I had such a question from someone in one of my earliest meetings.
You should only talk about what you know.
But the real question is will it help anyone?
