Finnish pop superstar, Danny, intends to finally start living and loving at 67 after heart attack

Even Finnish pop superstars like Danny (Ilkka Lipsanen) don’t know ho to live and love, but at the age of 67 he wants to start. How will he do it. The Oshana Spiritual Teaching has answers and produces quick results.

It may surprise you that even heartthrob pop superstars with the world and lovesick girls at their feet don’t know how to live and have a bit of trouble loving.

Danny (Ilkka Lipsanen), the first rock star to bring colourful choreography to the Finnish rock scene recently made a surprising statement to the press after a heart attack last month which left him at the “gates of death”

Danny now wants to live and love at the age of 67.

I am happy that Danny has come to this spiritual realisation and that he his publicising it through the Finland’s media channels. It may cause others to start waking up and question why they are living the way that they do.

Without asking such questions awareness cannot arise sufficient for constructive changes to happen.

I wonder how Danny will start opening himself up to life and how he will start giving and receiving love?

I know that it will not be easy. Simply having an intention is not enough. Habits and inhibitions have to be overcome. These tendencies are deep rooted, related to painful experiences and are well defended in the psyche.

In my work of guiding others to be all that they can be these areas are encountered and gently overcome. It takes dedication, persistence and support. Fortunately, good results come surprisingly fast and this encourages person to carry on until all is good and perfect.

I have been teaching that you don’t need to get to death’s door to realise that life has brought you wonderful opportunities. Human life is short, it does not get longer.

Danny’s poignant story reminds us of several important principles:

Starting fully living and loving today

Take every opportunity that life gives you

Be kind to others

Don’t take for granted what you already have

Being famous does not guarantee getting the most precious things in life – in fact it may make life more difficult

I will explain, without recourse to hackneyed old traditional speculative answers, something which I had no clue about on the day that I got Enlightened, which is that you need 3 people for the Enlightenment Process to be effective.

Since becoming a spiritual teacher following my Enlightenment on 19 June 2000, I have felt that I can make a crucial difference for other seekers to find their own Enlightenment. In reality, I could not see how they could do it without my help, and for this reason felt compelled to teach even though I had never wanted to teach. Based on nearly 10 years of teaching experience, I can definitely, declare that miracles happen consistently on a daily basis. I notice a dramatic and unprecedented rise in awareness, energy and ability of seekers who connect to the Enlightenment Transmission. Although, this continually happens I am still frequently surprised, in awe and grateful.

We can now throw out the old rusty traditional Enlightenment Handbook and observe how it happens live and direct. Truly, I can say that seekers who connect to the Enlightenment Transmission are experiencing a seemingly impossible rebirth and enjoying a new existence.

The typical rationalisation given by religious institutions for having a teacher is that everyone needs a teacher for every activity in life. I have always disagreed with this because some activities happen naturally and that Life is the Teacher. I also believe that Enlightenment is a natural God-given birthright. However, there are, within each seeker obstructions, which I as a spiritual midwife can remove when the seeker requests it.

I also have always maintained that Enlightenment should happen out there, in Life, and not in a monastery. I do not live in a temple; I live in the real world, because that is where Life is happening. However, I do also recommend an occasional, temporary retreat from the distractions of everyday life to benefit from a continuous and intense exposure to the Enlightenment Transmission for those who are able to cope with transformations and openings.

Coming back to the title of this live online class, "Why You Need At Least 3 People To Help Get You Enlightened", I will explain. As I have taken so much of your time already, I will simply give you a clue – only one of those 3 persons has to be an enlightened spiritual teacher!

Summer is here! Never mind.

In Finland, everything stops as every formerly working person, escapes to the forest for rests. That’s why:

Whatever you do locally for summer, I would like you to meditate on how many summers you have left (if this disturbs you then stop reading here). In Finland, there are only so many saunas you can have before your body shrivels up like a prune or a prawn and the big E-gal in the sky pecks you off.

This almost makes sense when you don’t think directly about it. The mind is incredibly over-invested in the illusion of continuity even when South Sea Bubble is absolutely certain to burst. Which means “you die, I die, we all die – spry, crisp ‘n dry.”

This summer marks the 9th Year of my Enlightenment (since 19.06.2000). This does not mean anything to you – but it could. All is lost unless you wake up from the dream of unreality. Only so many summers left for someone.

I, therefore, suggest (strongly for a change) that it is time to go fast track. There’s nothing to lose except all being lost. So, continuing on an uncharacteristic track, unseen since 2000-2002, I super strongly urge you to to bind up every ounce of grit and courage and go for IT. As I said, you have nothing to lose except everything, guaranteed.

If less is more then Nothing is Everything; Reality really is exactly like that. When everything that you have tried has failed then it is time to do things differently. Has it occurred to you that: You perceive problems because you create them? You never have enough time because you continually use it all up? You never arrive at your centre because you are always moving away from it? Your attempts to know yourself only create a false self? If so then it is time for you to apply *the principle of doing nothing.* From nothingness comes everything.

It isn’t the norm for spiritual events, except charismatic/cathartic rituals, which are typically as unstimulating as the umpteenth cold tea which the vicar accepted but did not drink (which is why stoned stimulant seekers, eschew the Salvation Army in favour of peyote-toting neo-shamans. “More E vicar?” will be the clarion call of the spiritually bankrupt bankrolling machine.)

It’s no wonder that spiritual seekers seek refuge in the last place that a Self-respecting aspirant should be seen – the bookshop. It’s the only place that seems to offer sense in the free market chaos of the topsy-turvy spiritual shopping mall. But it’s a trap, and enslavement to something far worse than the mail order book club debt-collector on the door – the mind’s machinations. Whilst prize courgette may grow from poop, the thousand-petalled lotus never arose from the dead-end mind. Minds don’t do wisdom anything like Consciousness does.

If Transmission is the long awaited big wave, then how to surf it all the way home? Forget about style, just hang on to that board, whatever happens it will be out of this world. That’s what this spiritual training is about, preparation for out-of-this-world, not the next world, but the Beyond The Beyond in this life, living from that place. Can you do two things at once? This is simpler.

Dear Seekers,

What a good way to start the New Year – late (having missed all the bad news and great sales) and with a free AUDIOcast as a way to introduce the start of a new season of Sunday afternoon (or brunch depending on your region) Live Transmission online classes. New flavours from the Oshana kitchen of experimental spiritual cuisine – but relax – exactly the same tried and true ingredients.

Thematically, the AUDIOcast will be about how it all started and ended for me – as a seeker. I can just about remember those days. Pre-2000, I chased after anything and everything, even bags in the wind …

Cue: The plastic bag scene from “American Beauty” and the words, “And that’s the day I realized there was this entire life behind things, and… this incredibly benevolent force … Sometimes there’s so much beauty in the world I feel like I can’t take it, like my heart’s going to cave in.”

Well, actually scraps of paper covered with cryptic inscriptions describing the beneficence of sundry mystics who held audience in hard-to-find London tenements. Normal people, it seemed, chucked such invaluable maps to consciousness away, totally oblivious to the inherent value.

This is how I spent my youth. Misspent? The court is out on that one. Fortunately, for all its wonder and spectacle, my seeking days ended fatefully on 19th June 2000. No more seekers anymore (set to the tune of “No More Heroes” – do not follow link). I can’t say I miss any of it – because – I don’t.

If you know me. (You do? Ok, I can tell you then) Then you know that Waking UP was the singularly most important event for me. It was like the time and place when and where I entered into this world. Year Zero. There was nothing before it. How peculiar.

Being a spiritual teacher and sharing magical lights, mind shattering wisdom, spontaneous healings and experiences so deep you could free fall for ever and ever – this is nothing compared to the Enlightenment because nothing compares to birth, I can tell you, and so can quite a few recently overwhelmed happy Oshana student couples – Congratulations!

Except in my case I was spiritually reborn, not physically (although I had heretofore toyed with the idea but figured my mum would not be up for it). I always wanted a new life, a fresh start. Come mid-June 2000, I had it.

I am trying my best not to reveal the AUDIOcast, not to expose the new soup’s secret seasoning. Truth is, I don’t know what it is yet. I haven’t cooked it. But this weekend, when I am all alone, I will make it.

I think I have said enough. I’ll stop here. Save to mention a few practical items. Yawn! Pay attention, especially if you have never attended an Oshana online class or AUDIOcast, this may prevent lifetimes of gnawing dissatisfaction at having missed the audio stream due to a completely avoidable mistake.

The Ego gets blamed for everything even the kitchen sink, if not at first, then inevitably in the end. The word “ego” is used on in common language, psychology, psychotherapy and spirituality. Wherever you look you find different definitions but generally the consensus opinion is that the ego is not good, bad, nasty, contaminating and reason for quick shower. But few people can find, let alone shake it off.
